It's been a while since I've actually took the time to sit down and blog about something. With the current situation domestically and internationally, I'm under quite a lot of stress on how to spruce up our sales as we are approaching the end of 2008.
It feels like I've just joined this company and yet it has been 8 months now. With things not getting any better due to the current economic downturn, I think it will be a very difficult year end. Businesses are collapsing everywhere around the world while others are looking for fresh investors or even funds from the government to sustain this difficult times.
For example, Citi Group is known as 1 of the largest bank in US and it's facing so much of financial problems that it almost went bust if it was not for the Federal Reserve who rescued them with USD 20 billion. On top of that, the government has agreed to shoulder their losses which was within the range of hundreds of billions.Even established companies like JP Morgan & Chase has laid off 9,200 workers at its Washington Mutual Unit.
What I'm trying to say here is, we should be blessed that we still have our jobs and salaries right now as compared to the hundreds of thousand people in America without a job. We should learn on how to spend less as in time to come, we will join the rest of the world in this economic slow down.
For those who normally eats out, it would be much cheaper and healthier for you to cook at home. We have to know what are our needs and necessities. It is time to understand yourself whether you really need the item that you're about to buy? Can you live without it for the time being? If the answer is yes, then you might have saved yourself alot of money. If the answer is no, then looks like you're gonna have to buy it.
As forecasted, we will head into worse times after Chinese New Year 2009. This will definately mean that the 1st half of 2009 will be in shitty times and if we're lucky enough, things will start to recover after June '09.
I would like to take this oportunity to wish all readers best of luck in this coming year and hopefully we will have a better 2010.
Till my next post.....
Cheers.
