With the ending of the rat year and beginning of the Bull year, things has not looked very good or promising for me this time around.
Things that can't seem to go wrong would go wrong. The things that were suppose to be in good working condition would simply fail you. Everything that requires monetary attention would fail you 1 by 1. Just like recently, my gearbox that has been maintained properly for the last 2 yrs has started to act up on me. Now, it is sitting at home resting while I find the money to get it changed.
I had the car and gearbox serviced and checked just before CNY and everything was working perfectly fine before I left for Penang. After I got back from Penang, it was still working fine right up to last week. I started feeling the gearbox slipping each time I take a turn or corner. And now, it's got worse as I feel it is not engaging properly.
Could it be the ATF that needs to be changed or does it need a complete overhaul or changing? The operation would cost me roughly RM 1300 - RM 1500 and I'm wondering where I'm gonna find that kind of money to get it done. Besides that, the road tax and insurance for my other car is about to expire in another 2 months. Just my luck......
With the amount of expenses that I have to pay each month, it would be a miracle for me to be able to figure this out. What was supposed to be smooth sailing has turned into a storm as big as it was in "The Perfect Storm". My monthly income has been slashed due to the rough times and hence, the dilemma.
Luckily, I managed to rent out my long vacant room to a friend that needed a place to stay. At least with the rent, I can cover some of the expenses for the house. Other than that, I'm still stuck in a puddle of shit.
Hope I can overcome the bad times and cruise to a better tomorrow....
